About
Hi, I’m Stavros.
I live in Thessaloniki and work remotely with product teams abroad. Ten years now, mostly on the frontend: expense management, sportsbooks, gaming platforms, the kind of software people open every day without thinking about it. Lately I spend as much time on the services behind the screen as on the screen itself. Hand me a rough idea and I’ll ship it. Then I keep it simple as it grows, which is the harder part.
I studied Applied Informatics at the University of Macedonia. For a few years after that I taught JavaScript and React at TechPro Academy, and I still like the mentoring side of the job more than I expected to going in. Outside work it’s drums, kick-boxing, cooking when there’s time, and travel.

Perk (formerly Yokoy)
- Problem
- A core form needed redesigning on mobile. Then an acquisition moved the product onto a different frontend stack, with the old one still live.

- I led the mobile form redesign before the acquisition, then held the domain decisions through the React rewrite that followed.
White Hat Gaming
- Problem
- Every brand ran the play page from the same legacy code, and each game provider arrived with its own way of being embedded.

- Senior Frontend Engineer, led 3 engineers
- Owned
- I led three engineers migrating the play page to Angular and integrating game providers through iframes and their own SDKs.
LSP Client
- Problem
- Engineers had no single view of an installed network, so checking its health meant going to each device in turn.
